Young Adult Ministry invites adults in their 20's and 30's, single and married alike, to participate in the life of our parish through faith enrichment, service, and social events.

The community of young adults at Holy Name is very active, and includes people from all walks of life: students at local MBA or Law programs, natives of Chicago and those new to the area, persons from different countries (including France, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Italy..) and many more.  Activities have included Bible studies, reading and discussion groups, Theology on Tap (a summer speaker series), sailing at Navy Pier, museum trips, volleyball (indoor, or outdoor on the beach), summer softball, movie outings, volunteer work at shelters, and organizing gift and clothing drives for  those in need.

We also gather with young adults from neighboring churches for Multi-parish happy hours, an annual Christmas party (with over 700 attendees), and for the annual FOCUS conference every May (hosted by the Archdiocesan Young Adult Ministry).
