11. Shrine of the Blessed Mother

The Shrine of the Blessed Mother is located to the right of the main altar and the sanctuary organ. Here Luchetti’s bronze casting of Mary’s Assumption into heaven rises over Rosso Alicante marble. A more traditional statue of Mary, the Mother of God, is located in the Cathedral Courtyard.
