CHORAL  AUDITIONS General auditions for the three Cathedral choirs are held annually for the following year. Schola Cantorum Cathedralis: Liturgical chamber choir
Professional singers
Rehearsals: Thursdays 6:00pm– 8:00pm, Sunday 8:45am call for two services.
Additional calls for Christmas, Holy Week, and concerts
Wedding soloists and professional cantors are drawn from the Chamber Singers

Cathedral Singers: Auditioned 50 voice SATB choir
Dedicated, talented, and enthusiastic singers
Rehearsal:  Thursday 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Call at 10:00am for 11:00am service every other Sunday
Exceptional singers may be invited to be cantors

Cathedral Women's Schola: Volunteer 25 voice women's choir
Dedicated singers with interest in equal voice and chant repertoire
Rehearsal: Every Tuesday 7:15pm-9pm 
Rehearsal and Service: Every other Saturday 3:45pm call and a 5:15pm service.

Audition Requirements
 

Schola Cantorum Cathedralis: 2 vocal solos, one in English and one in Latin
Sight singing is a very high priority
Prior experience in a liturgical choir is preferred
Resume

CathedralSingers: 1 vocal solo or your part of a choral piece
Some music reading ability required

Women's Schola: Suitable range and tone quality
Ability to "hold your part" in a hymn

Holy Name Cathedral is located at the corner of State and Superior streets.
Parking is available in the Cathedral lot across State Street.
