The Cathedral is open for private prayer or reflection each day from approximately 30 minutes prior to the first scheduled mass until 7:00 pm. This schedule may change on special celebrations or events.

Registration

New Parishioners are invited to register in person at the Cathedral Rectory during normal business hours. We are delighted to welcome you.

Child Care During Mass

Holy Name offers free baby-sitting service for children from 3 months to 4 years old during the 9:30 and 11:00 AM Sunday Masses. Experienced child care providers are on duty to keep your children safe and comfortable so you can pray with a minimum of distractions! Ask an usher to direct you to the Child Care room on the lower level of the Cathedral.

Adoration

First and Third Fridays of each month in the Chapel from 8:30 AM through Holy Hour. Holy Hour will be held on the First Friday of each month in the Church, in the section facing the Tabernacle, after the 5:15 PM Mass. The Rosary is prayed in the Cathedral each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening after the 5:15 PM Mass.

Reconciliation

The Reconciliation Room, located on the lower level of the Cathedral, offers the penitent the Sacrament with or without the use of the confessional screen. Our schedule is as follows:

Saturdays 3 to 4 PM in the Reconciliation Room
Saturdays 4 PM - 5 PM, 6:15 to 7:15 PM, in the Cathedral confessionals
Weekdays Monday, Tuesday, Friday at 5 PM in the Reconciliation Room

Adult Confirmation

Were you baptized Catholic and received your First Communion, but never confirmed? The next Adult Confirmation at Holy Name Cathedral will take place in either May or June, 2008.
